Cinders Theatre Trip

Recently we arranged a group trip to Cinders at the festival Theatre. It was lovely to see about 80 pupils and their families from the Ballet School attending this new take on Cinderella. The performance was a sumptuous affair with beautiful costumes and a fabulous set. In this production of Cinders ‘Cinders’ can be played by a male or female. Apparently they flip a coin at the beginning to decide. This night we had Cinderfella! We were not sure how it would be with a man in this role but it was just as fantastic as the traditional version.

The night was also made special by the fact that it was Bethany Kingsley-Gardner’s last ever performance before she retires as principal ballerina. It was such an emotional and historic moment to witness. What a great night!
